“Botanical perfume” narrows this further to materials from plants only—think essential oils, absolutes, and CO₂ extracts derived from flowers, leaves, woods, resins, seeds, and peels. Absolutes are highly concentrated aromatic extracts produced (traditionally) via solvent extraction or enfleurage, often used for delicate florals like jasmine and tuberose where steam distillation won’t capture the full aroma.

• Free of BHA (butylated hydroxyanisole) – a synthetic antioxidant sometimes used to stabilise oils in cosmetics; we leave it out. 
• Cruelty-free – never tested on animals.
